Georgians Family Unit

      Georgians is the coordinating body for conducting spiritual, philanthropic, social service and other majo functions of the parish, in coordination with the parish managing committee and other spiritual organizations.

      Besides the Vicar and Assistant Vicar, Georgians coordination committee consists of 57 members comprising : 15 Parish managing committee members including trustee & secretary, 33 office bears of 11 family units ( General convener and treasurer from each family unit), and executive committee members elected by the parish general body. Vicar and assistant vicar are the president and vice president respectively of the coordination and executive committees.

     Besides the president, the executive committee consists of 11 members viz, working president, secretary, general convenor (Parish Trustee), 7 Vice Presidents for various Social Welfare Activities and one member (parish secretary).

    The executive committee is responsible in carrying out the Day-to-Day activities of Georgians as per decisions of the coordination committee and managing committee. Social welfare activities are categorized into :

1. Sick Aid
2. Marriage Assistance
3. Housing Assistance
4. Educational Assistance
5. Employment
6. Youth Affairs
7. Social Service

    Each category of social welfare is being undertaken by a three member team consisting of one Vice President and two coordinators elected by the coordination committee during its annual general body meeting. Based on the detailed investigations, joint review and recommendations of each team social welfare Fund is being disbursed jointly by the president, working president and parish trustee.

In a year there shall be minimum five meetings of the coordination committee and 7 meetings of the executive committee.
